Description

Established since 1971, AmCham offers opportunities for business networking, social events and a regular series of conferences and workshops.Its central mission is to promote US-Indonesia commercial relations and to serve its members as a key resource for information and business networking. First formed as a committee, AmCham Indonesia has grown to hundreds of members representing more than 250 companies.

Australian and New Zealand Association
Description

In 1970, the Australia and New Zealand Association (ANZA) of Indonesia was established in Jakarta so that expatriate Australians and New Zealanders could meet and share experiences. They now welcome women and men of all nationalities and have members from all around the world.

They have two important missions. One is to provide members living in Indonesia with a welcoming, supportive and lively social network where you can meet new people, join in the many and varied activities, and attend social events. Their other mission is to give something back to the Jakarta community by helping disadvantaged Indonesians through our social welfare programs.

British Chamber of Commerce (BritCham)

The British Chamber of Commerce builds on a British business presence that extends more than a hundred years., now hosting more than one hundred events annually that provide broad platforms for business development amongst their members.

Working in partnership with the British Embassy (UKTI) and the British Council, whose senior representatives sit on the Board of Management, BritCham is committed to developing a services infrastructure that supports all stages of business development right from their inception in Indonesia.

To members and a wider business community, they represent an independent and reliable source of information on issues.

British Women’s Association
Description

The BWA is a non-profit organisation, established in 1970 to offer support and friendship to ex-pat women living in Jakarta.  BWA is run entirely by members on a voluntary basis and you can get a lot of satisfaction from getting involved.  Helping out on the committee or helping to organise an event or activity is a great way to put your skills to good use.  If you want a total break from any responsibility and simply to enjoy being a lady of leisure we can help you with that too, with our fun activities and groups.

The BWA is open to all nationalities, and at our house in Kemang we offer our members a variety of activities and clubs, weekly coffee mornings, lunches, Playgroups, quiz and social nights and so much more. In addition BWA raises significant funds to support local charities through an annual Fashion Show, biannual bazaars, ladies golf tournaments and other social events.

Canadian Women’s Association
