The restaurant is designed like a marketplace, where you order your dishes and take a seat in the open plan dining area with a giant screen showing you how beautiful the Alps are. There are several Heidi-like chalets for a more peaceful dining experience, one of which is a designated kid’s area, with mini playground, TV and occasional kid’s activities. You can even sit in a cable car, though obviously not in mid-air! We found plenty of interesting themed decorations to look at. An unusual place to have lunch or just coffee and cake (the apple strudel was delicious) as well as Mövenpick ice cream. A good option for birthday parties.
