If you ever wonder of “kampung” living, then this is the place where you can learn traditional arts and crafts. A guesthouse surrounded by river, rice fields, and tropical gardens. Prior reservation is required (there are minimum person requirement per package). You can explore (60-90 minute) kampung walk through rice paddy fields and bamboo forests while showing children the local flora and fauna. Learn how to play “angklung” (Indonesian traditional musical instrument made from bamboo). Classes can be arranged as can “taking a bath with water buffalo”! Traditional lunches and dinners are offered as part of a package, and use of the pool comes with no extra charge. A day package including kampung tour and leisurely lunch starts from IDR 125,000 (minimum 20 persons). Avoid visiting on public holidays as there is a very popular public swimming pool next door and the noise ruins the tranquil atmosphere..
This is an interactive nature reserve and farm. You can plant rice, fish, pick your own fruit and camp. You can go alone or with a group (recommended to make reservation – see contact info). For groups of a minimum of 20 persons, an educational package costing IDR 95,000/person can be arranged as well as other packages such as outbound, seminar/meeting, etc. On-site cottages are available (9 cottages) that sleep up to 5 adults each with prices start from IDR 1,575,000/night.

A great place to buy almost any kind of baking supplies. Their range of products run the gamut from flour to little sugar figurines, and includes baking paper that you can buy per sheet.
You can check some of their products on their website.They also stock tools to decorate cakes such as food writers. You name it, they most probably have it!
They also run training courses for all types of flour-based edibles, managed by Bogasari Baking Centre.

F. Widayanto is a ceramic artist and you can visit his clay studio and Javanese house set in pleasant gardens. There are two places, one is in Jakarta and the other in Depok. Children can press some clay into various moulds to create things like turtles, lizards, and flowers while adults can have a more challenging pottery sessions. There is also a small shop selling some of Widayanto’s ceramics. Refreshments and Indonesian lunch available although you could bring a picnic.

They have everything you need to bake a cake! The list includes; small Disney character figurines, sugared flowers, plastic moulds, cake tins of every description and huge slabs of cooking chocolate (white, dark and milk), 100’s & 1000’s, food colouring and flavouring and every piping utensil under the sun. Cake decorating classes are also available..
